What we want – what we long for – what we are – who we’ve become – what we have or don’t have- are neutralized in sleep.
We can turn off all of our progress meters and be exactly here in the most vulnerable and emptying experience of sleep.
We can dream and escape to places. We can become someone else. We can change our destinies. We can journey to made-up lands to play piano on a glacier surrounded by purple, glass mountains. We can fly over midnight oceans and through star-speckled galaxies. We can be unburdened, unbothered, and lie down beside still waters.
It all ends in sleep. It becomes only you. Nothing else. Nothing is expected of you. Here you are – and that is all.

Lo-fi hip hop with a chiptune edge, something I didn't know I needed but now kick myself for missing all this time. Muted percussion in the back and sharp, clear tones in the forefront make every track a true bop, and each one lasts exactly as long as it needs to.
Loving the pure simplicity of the instrumentation the most. It's like eating grilled cheese and being like "damn this shit's good, and it's just cheese, bread, and butter!" Cardian Matsu
